We have various classes running in the gym, including Aerobics, Zumba, Yoga, TaeBo, Pilates, Insanity, Aqua Zumba, Personal Training, Boxing and Taekwondo.
Aerobic exercise also called cardiovascular exercise it is any sustained, rhythmic activity that affects large muscle groups. Aerobic exercise presses that the lungs work harder as the body's need for oxygen is incremented. The aerobics exercises we offer include: STEP AEROBICS, INDOOR CYCLING & JUMP ROPE EXERCISES
Zumba is a dance fitness program. It involves dance movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, meringue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included. Zumba classes are typically about an hour long and are taught by instructors licensed by Zumba Fitness, LLC. In one Zumba class a person can burn between 500-1000 calories depending on the energy the individual puts into the class.
Yoga- Yoga is a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. Yoga does more than burn calories and tone muscles. It's a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation or relaxation.
Pilates- Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century. It is the art of controlled movements, which should look and feel like a workout (not a therapy) when properly manifested. If practiced with consistency, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.
